We mark World Oceans Day with an educational project for school children

One of our group’s values is responsibility, so it is very important for us to take part in the project, which aims to promote awareness among Lithuanian youth about how we can protect the Baltic Sea ecosystem and how we can contribute to the implementation of environmental protection ideas by our example.

The educational project, now in its third year, has attracted 120 gymnasium students from different parts of the Klaipėda region. The aim of the project is to inform and educate pupils who, due to the geographical distance, are unable to visit the seaside, and to get a closer look at the problems affecting it.

The Lithuanian Maritime Museum will run this educational project for two more seasons.
