The family of KTG shareholder Z. Petrauskas contributes to the aid dedicated to medics

In May, Kaunas Clinics will receive an artificial lung ventilation machine “Bio-med TV-100”.

Z. Petrauskas states that “in response to the emergency situation, with the dramatic increase in the number of COVID-19 patients, we must unite and show solidarity and unity by contributing to the well-being of the city and its people.”

At present, medical institutions lack not only the necessary protective equipment, but also special equipment that would give hope to live and help to recover people who are seriously ill.

In consultation with the specialists of Evomeda PJSC and LUHS Hospital Kaunas Clinics, KTG ordered an artificial lung ventilation machine, which is adapted for artificial lung ventilation for all age groups, it is intended for use in intensive care units and in all types of transport, as well as for invasive and non-invasive ventilation.

This vital equipment will be donated to LUHS Kaunas Clinics. The value of the American made machine is around 20 thousand euros.

KTG is a socially responsible company that supports Andrius Tapinas’ initiative “Laikykitės, medikai!”, as well as cooperates with the SOCL, “Maisto bankas” and other social initiatives.
