Cargo performance in the first half of 2025

During the first six months of 2025, a total of 4.171 million tonnes of various cargoes were handled at the KTG Group’s terminals – an increase of 4.8 per cent compared with the same period in 2024. The Group’s terminals handled a total of 873 cargo vessels in the first half of 2025.

The Klaipėda Container Terminal handled 690,000 tonnes of Ro-Ro cargo, i.e. 34 per cent more than in the first half of 2024. Furthermore, a significant milestone was reached at the Klaipėda Container Terminal during the first half of the year – it handled the largest container ship in its history, the OOCL ST. LAWRENCE.

Meanwhile, the Malkų Bay Terminal demonstrated consistent growth and operational stability – it handled 746,000 tonnes of cargo, i.e. 6 per cent more than last year, and continued to be a reliable handling partner for various cargo segments.
