Cargo performance in the first half of 2025

The KTG Group's managed terminals continue to perform well with solid growth.

In the first six months of 2025, KTG Group’s terminals handled a total of 4.171 million tonnes of various cargoes, an increase of 4.8% compared to the same period in 2024.

The Group’s terminals handled a total of 873 cargo vessels in the first half of 2025, which continue to account for a significant share of maritime traffic in the Port of Klaipėda.

Klaipėda Container Terminal stood out, further consolidating its leadership in the Ro-Ro and general cargo segments in the Baltic region. The terminal handled 690,000 tonnes of Ro-Ro cargo, 34% more than in the first half of 2024. KCT also recorded a major milestone in the first half of the year with the largest ever container vessel OOCL ST. LAWRENCE.

Meanwhile, the Malkų Įlankos Terminal demonstrated consistent growth and stability, handling 746,000 tonnes of cargo, up 6% on last year, and continued to be a reliable partner for various cargo segments.

These results underline KTG Group’s focus on growth, operational excellence and reliable partnerships, thus reinforcing its long-term role as the leading stevedoring group in Klaipėda and the Baltic region.
