Vaidotas Šileika re-elected President of ALSC for a second term

V. Šileika emphasises that his duty as the President at Association will be to continue the work started during his first term of office in addressing the issues relevant to port companies.

According to the head of the KCT, the aim will be to facilitate the active participation of the maritime business in the legislative process and to take into account the opinions and suggestions of port operators in the formulation of the state transport and transit policy objectives.

This is the third time that Mr Šileika has headed the association, which brings together twelve port companies and several scientific institutions. He has been the head of the Association since 2021, and was also the president of the association from 2013 to 2017.
