The results of 2017 are optimistic

The growing results were  contributed  by 14 percent grow of container handling at Klaipėda Container Terminal. There were handled 300 007 TEU, which made 62% of all containers loaded at Klaipėda port.

In 2017, PFX (Poland -Finland Express), the operator of COSCO, started operating at the Klaipėda Container Terminal . UNIFEEDER and CONTAINERSHIPS increased their capacity on short sea shipping lines.

In group companies wagon handling grew by 7% , and made up 28,198 wagons.

In the next 2-3 years, the VĮ KVJUD plans to implement works to deepen the “Malkų įlanka” Bay for up to 14.5 m and to reconstruct the quays. This action will significantly increase the competitiveness of the KTG terminals and affect the change in cargo volumes.
