The reconstruction project of ALIA was recognised by the Architects’ Association of Lithuania.

Back in summer it was already announced that of 4800 sq.m. space that was for rent only -30 percent of premises of the business center ALIA were not leased. Today, we announce that the building is 100 percent occupied.

On 1 October the awards were presented for the best implemented projects. The traditional “meter” was divvied out by five laureates. The 1/5 meter prize was brought to Kaunas by architects of NEBRAU PJSC.

58 authors and architects’ studios submitted 161 applications for the competition: 27 competitive works, 42 projects that are not implemented yet, and 92 realizations.

The works submitted by the architects were evaluated by a jury traditionally composed of foreign architects: Xander Vermeulen Windsant (Netherlands), Māra Ābele (Latvia), and Kalle Komissarov (Estonia).
