Klaipėda Container Terminal has invested in new cargo handling equipment

“Two Konecranes lifts are permanently in operation at the terminal for the handling of empty containers. Naturally, as the container terminal’s handling volumes increase, we are investing in the acquisition of modern equipment to ensure efficient handling operations,” says Kornelijus Kerpė, Technical Director of Klaipėda Container Terminal, about the need for new equipment.

The new hoist is designed to lift empty containers. It is equipped with an ergonomic cabin to ensure the comfort of the lift drivers during their work, as well as with the exclusive technology needed for the handling operations.
