Investment to the Development of Malkų įlankos terminalas, UAB

On 26 July of this year, an agricultural product complex service centre was opened in Malkų įlankos terminalas. The investments into this project exceeded 5 million euro. Services related to agricultural products will be provided in this new modern centre: grain drying, cleaning and storage.

This investment will significantly increase competitive advantage of Malkų įlankos terminalas, UAB belonging to KTG. In 2016, the terminal handled more than 1 million tons of cargo, and agricultural products accounted for 25 per cent of grain loaded to ships in the Port of Klaipėda.

It will be able to accept up to 400 t of grain per hour, and the dryer will dry approx. 120 t of grain during the same period.
