Evolution has expanded the leased area to ~ 3700 sq.m. completely filling the remaining free space. The studio in Kaunas is almost ready for work and will open its doors at the end of October.
The company is actively looking for employees for its rapidly growing international team. It will be the 16th office of the Company, where Evolution expects to employ over 150 people by the end of the year. And by the end of 2021, the Company plans to expand to 1,000 employees in Lithuania, who will join the team of approximately 7,000 Evolution members.
This is the first real estate project of “Klaipėdos terminalo grupė”, the implementation of which was not very easy. Old building of 1975 was reconstructed and revived, building two additional floors on top of it. This building, located in a special place of Kaunas city, was recognised not only by the international company, which leased almost 80 percent of its space, but by the community of architects as well. The sculpture “One fifth of a meter” of the contemporary architecture competition-exhibition “Self-reflection 2019–2020” was awarded to the authors of the business center reconstruction project – Laurynas Avyžius and Andrius Kalinauskas, architects of NEBRAU PJSC.
“We were convinced that exceptional, high-quality buildings do not stay empty for a long time, especially when the project is being developed with the aim of settling in it by ourselves. It took a little over six months to lease out all space of ALIA BC. We are glad that Kaunas manages to attract international companies that create new jobs and contribute to the growth of the city.” – says Ramunė Venslauskienė, CEO of “Klaipėdos terminalo grupė”.
In addition to Evolution, Business Center provided space to OKATA, European cuisine restaurant, which can accommodate over 150 guests, as well as company Mesoderma, which sells equipment and products for spas and beauty salons. A beauty clinic will open its doors by the end of the year.
